I'm so excited - just had to share! I did a swap with Stephanie Ramey from H & R Farms and to-day received a box of rhea eggs. They are a beautiful colour, small single hole and packed so well in double bubble wrap bags. Travelled perfectly all the way downunder.

I'd forgotten just how gorgeous rhea eggs are! You lucky, lucky things in the States to have easy access to rhea eggs. Oh that we should be so lucky here in Oz.

Just wanted to let you know the eggs arrived today. They are Beautiful. So much nicer then the one I brought at the emu farm in Calif for $10. It must be a no 3. I can hardly wait to start working on these. Right now I am practing on one that was given me that someone had been trying to etch, but didn't know how. Too bad. I am having fun with it. I took the eggs out of the bags so they will not mold or mildew. I did not realize I had to worry about that. Thank you for the tip. I will let the Pysanky group know what beautiful eggs you have. Even the Seconds are great.

What a wonderful surprise I got today when I went to get my mail. I received the eggs I won, and they are the best I've seen. The drain hole is just right. Packaging was very nice and protective of the eggs. When I need more, I sure will contact you. So, here is my big thank you, okay I'm sending a hug too.

The eggs just arrived from Stephanie. She packed them very well (two boxes), and even though one of the boxes was caved in on the side, the eggs made it through just fine. They are all beautiful eggs. That is the first double-yolk emu egg I've ever seen and it is truly amazing! One of the ostrich eggs has a natural mother-of-pearl finish, and is a treasure! Please convey my thanks to her as well.
